2012 Presidential Debates and Social Networking

This article relays what many think to be the "funniest" tweets posted on Twitter regarding the most current presidential debate. It's interesting to think about the instantaneous nature of social networking... Romney makes a comment about Big Bird or having "binders full of women" and the next thing you know, it's a trending topic on one of the largest social networking sites. Millions of people will proceed to tweet or retweet about what comes out of the candidates' mouths, and those who don't even tune in to watch the debate probably feel like they already have with the bombardment of information they receive by the simple act of social networking.
