Do you think the school went over the line?

  1. This is ridiculous. I think if a student wants to dye their hair, or get their hair cut a certain way they should be able to. Administrative that says it is a distraction to students is a little over the top. Of course when the student first walks in there will be some talk about the new "do" but having a student be punished for it, is going to prolong the situation, and just have the students getting more intrigued.

  2. I agree with Emily ^^^^^^^^^^ but now-a-days students are starting to get suspended for the mostr rediculous things and this is one I havent heard of yet!!!! People are going to talk but the suspension in my opinion is based off of judgement. Just because the student doesn;t mlook the way they want him to, they jsut started something stupid. The the child live!!!!

  3. I agree with both of you guys!! I feel like admin is stripping this little boy of his individualism and it isn't fair. We should be praising him for his drive to try something new and to do what he likes not punishing him for it!

  4. I agree with you all. I believe that schools are trying to eliminate the "different" looks that they do not like, because they feel that it makes them look bad. What I am trying to say is that when new parents come to the school to observe to see if the school is right for their children, the school does not want the new parents to see kids walking around with their hair dyed blue or has a Mohawk.
