Technology meets Law

In a NYT article titled, Consensus Eludes Courts in Search of Cellphones, the author discusses the new problem of "whether and when law enforcement authorities can peer into suspects’ cellphones, and the cornucopia of evidence they provide." This issue has manifested as a result of booming cellular technology meeting U.S. laws for search and seizure. The issue also introduces the element of rights to privacy, all exemplifying the prevalence of the technological boom and the antiquity of the U.S. court system.
