It's not often that you read about an 11 year old girl knocking boys on their butt, especially while playing football. However, that's just what Caroline Pla had been doing in her Catholic Youth Organization football team all last season. At the end of last season though she was told that the "boys only" policy would be put into affect for her safety. Do you think that it's fair for a girl who can clearly hold her own against the boys to be left out of a sport she loves?

Nonsense is what I think. If this girl is able to know and play the sport well, why should she be penalized? Obviously if she has the right training and practicing, as well as the right mind set, she should be able to play the game fair and square, just like the rest of the boys. This is the 21st century where women have rights, as well as having equal opportunity as men. Why keep someone down from doing something they love? For all we know she could be the next Danica Patrick of football, and yet she is being shot down. I think its time this youth group rethinks this decision being made.
