New Gains in Technology

Research and work in the field of technology presents a new way for those who are blind to see. A bionic eye has been approved by the FDA but can only be used for those with a rare type of blindness called retinitis pigmentosa. Now this new device will not allow people to see everything but to see light and dark. This is a big step for those who have been left permanently blind. With technology like this becoming realistic, do you think that scientists will soon be able to create bionic eyes that allow people to see normally?
