  1. As an iPhone user the Samsung galaxy s4 is the latest technology everyone is talking of and want and because of the conspicuous consumption theory by Veblen, our society tend to want what other people want in order to feel accepted and that goes for adults to even young children. But reason this I do believe that the Samsung s4 will be the best phone out but apple will continue to bring more iPhones out for consumers like myself to still want and buy even though its the same product from 5-6 years ago!

  2. Although the Samsung galaxy s4 does seem to provide some competition to the iphone, I do not think consumers will choose that phone over the iphone. Apple is a developed company that has been around for a while with a respected reputation. When people hear the term iphone they believe it to be the best because of the reputation that surrounds it and the history behind it as well. Samsung is another company that has been around for a while but they cannot compete with a "name-brand" phone such as an iphone.
