Dr. Who?

Last Friday, a teenager in Australia was caught and arrested for impersonating a physician at a hospital he volunteered at  He didn't just go as far as to try on some scrubs and a name badge, he treated some patients,  including a young girl after a scooter accident, and prescribed medications.  Doesn't give much peace at mind , does it?  If he wants to work in this field so bad, this isn't really the way to get started.

Practical joke or was it taken way too far?  Should the consequences be taken further?

  1. What is it with Australians and false identities?

Just kidding. The fact that he could just waltz in and treat people for awhile without notice is so scary.

  2. This is crazy! I cannot believe that the hospital was not secure enough to know someone was walking around and treating people with out any medical licensing. Drastic measures need to be taken here; not only having slim to none knowledge, but he could have seriously hurt or even girl the people he "treated". Definitely makes you think how secure our systems are, and if we are being correctly treated.
