Today's Communication... Good or Bad?
A mother was told that her son was dead via Facebook message. Do you think people have poor communication skills due to technology?
I think this is an example of people taking Facebook to an extreme measure. To inform someone that their child has passed away from being hit from a car online is inexcusable and absolutely heartbreaking. I want to know what happened to the days where police had the courtesy to let families know about deaths in person.
That is terrible. People now a day refrain from communicating in person because it is much easier to hide behind a computer screen to tell someone something. I cannot imagine what it would be like to be told that your child is dead via Facebook, I would be so devastated. There are times when it is ok to communicate via email or any technology, but there are also serious matters that need to be addressed in person.

ReplyDeleteyes, I think so.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah and Kara. People today have poor skills with communicating with people face to face.
