'Escape from Tomorrow' Cinematographer Explains How He Shot an Entire Movie Secretly in Disney Parks

I found this article to be very interesting because usually Disney is very strict about not allowing anyone to portray them in a negative way. Yet somehow, Lucas Lee Graham was able to film an entire high quality movie inside the park. This film is also featured at the Sundance Film Festival.   For example, when the street artist Banksy created a protest of Guantanamo Bay in Disneyland there was a lot of controversy over the issue.

Banksy's stunt to bring attention to the terror suspects being held at Guantanamo .

  1. Very interesting. Note that the film was shot on very small cameras and a low-light-level camera. Technology keeps shrinking the size of things while improving the quality.

  2. I realized that they use smaller cameras but I can't believe Disney's cameras everywhere wouldn't catch on to it. I guess everyone is filming home videos there but from what I read about the film there are some scenes that don't look like how people would normally act in a theme park.
